Website Update! Check it.

Hey everyone, we know it’s been awhile since you heard from us last, but it’s because we have been working on a bunch of new, cool stuff! Call this the beginning of our triumphant return.

We are announcing some important updates to www.printshipnow.com that are in effect as you read this. August 25th, 2010. The site will become even more user-friendly and will have a smattering of cool new features. This will be the first of several updates we are planning to deliver throughout the year.

Also, look for this blog to be revamped and augmented in the next few weeks, as well as the PrintFX and Print Ship Now Facebook and Twitter pages. Expect great things in the coming months!

Anyway, back to the PSN site update. This blog post will serve as a basic rundown so you know what will be changed and what will be added. Some of the cool things coming down the pipe are:

1. To start, a sizable amount of bug fixes and patches.
2. Business and Corporate level Pressshop registration will be open to the public!
3. We will be implementing an easier-to-use URL structure for both search engine optimization and social media applications. Products and template will be listed in an improved way.
4. New stock photography and the ability for users to create their own stock photo directories.
5. We have also optimized our database for faster load times and more reliable queries.
6. “Alpha” version of WebFX, which will enable users to create their own custom front page for their PrintFX Design Studios in a simple and efficient way. WebFX is the latest technology in the PrintFX suite, and will continue to improve through the month of September.
